Good morning crocheters! How's that cold going? or that heat? Depending on where you are. It has been a long time since I shared any free tutorial or pattern with you, whether on a blog or another social network. Now that we are in a new year, and I am starting to organize myself better, it is something that I would like to do during this year. This way you can knit, be inspired and learn from this wonderful and relaxing technique that is crochet.
Today's pattern is a warm garment, which is perfect for us this winter. It is a very simple garment, from which you can give free rein to your imagination and even make a scarf, a hat... Today we will make a basic crochet collar, knitted with slipped stitches, it is very simple, but practical for everyone , whether you are just starting out in crochet or if you already master it. Personally, I love collars to wear in autumn/winter.
What materials have I used?
- Chunky wool - WOW color 56 by Katia lanas.
- 9mm crochet
- wool needle
- Scissors
- Marker
What points are we going to use?
To make this garment you must know the following:
- Chain - Chain
- Half high point - Pma.
- Slipped stitch - Ps.
We start:
Important: Each round we will work through the back strand except for the last stitch of the round, in which case we will knit the entire stitch.
We are going to start by making 20 chains or as many chains as you want your neck to be high, in my case I started with 20, since the yarn I used is thick.
Row 1: Ch 1, 1 hdc in each of the chains.
Round 2: Ch 1, We turn the fabric. 1 hdc in each stitch, taking only the back loop of the stitches from the previous round.
Round 3-23: Repeat round 2.
You don't necessarily have to do 23 laps, you can do more if you want the neck to be looser, you can see it as you go. The measurement that I have left of the neck is 25 cm high x 22 wide . These yarns tend to stretch a little.
The measurement that I have left of the neck is 25 cm high x 22 wide.
Once you have the desired length, we are going to join the fabric to close it by making slip stitches, knitting through both sides. Once joined, we cut thread and hide. You now have your garment ready to wear and show off :).
If you have come this far and have knitted your duck neck this winter following these instructions, you can upload a photo of your wonderful piece and tag me on Instagram: @mi_cajonverde. See you at the next entry!
